The Coveralls service was designed with Ruby and Rails projects in mind, so, in 2011, Coveralls.io launched with its first “official” integration, coveralls-ruby, contributed by lemurheavy, the agency run by Coveralls founders, Lee Donahoe and Nick Merwin.
Since 2017, other members of the community have taken up the charge of maintaining and building upon the original rubygem, while the Coveralls team began focusing on integrations with more universal applicability, like the Coveralls Github Action, the Coveralls Orb for CircleCI and, now, the Coveralls Universal Coverage Reporter.
Kudos, and thanks to Geremia Taglialatela (aka. tagliala) for what appears to be the most active and well-maintained fork of coveralls-ruby.
See each project’s README for instructions.
